Note a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) fee applies to the above course. A $94.70 fee applies to participants who do not hold or require to add additional licence classes to a current QLD issued HRWL. Fees are directly payable to WorkCover Queensland.

Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500. The balance of fees payable will be charged at a point in the course that is proportionate to the amount of the deposit paid, e.g. a 10-day course costing $3,000, the remaining $1,500 will be charged at the end of day 5 (upon completion of 50% of the course).

Upon successful completion of this unit a Statement of Attainment will be issued for CPCCLSF2001A Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding - basic level, which forms part of CPC30911 Certificate III in Scaffolding.

Basic Scaffolding Training requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still enrol into the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with a Statement of Attainment certificate until you have successfully completed the training and assessment requirements, and provided us with your USI. To apply for a free USI visit the USI website or contact our facility.
Basic Scaffolding is suitable for persons who would like the opportunity to work as a scaffolder undertaking the basic level tasks of: erecting and dismantling prefabricated scaffolds; Cantilevered hoist with a load limit not exceeding 500 kilograms (materials only); Ropes; Gin wheels; Safety nets and static lines; Bracket scaffolds (tank and formwork).
Site Skills Training are operating out of GAGAL Training Centre, a third party premises located at 63 Raedon St, Biloela, with mobile training equipment supplied by our Site Skills Training Gladstone Facility.
Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there is a suitable industry training facilities.
Although there are no set training prerequisites, applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older to attain a HRW licence; meet at least an intermediate level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills due to the nature of the course.
Applicants are only eligible to apply for a Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) Licence, once they are 18 years of age, have successfully completed all of the assessment requirements.
When applying for a High Risk Work Licence from Work Health and Safety Queensland, applicants must comply with the Work Health and Safety Queensland Evidence of Identity criteria. For further information regarding the Evidence of Identity criteria please click here.

CPCCLSF2001A Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding - basic level
Persons who have successfully completed this course and have gained the relevant licencing requirements, will have the opportunity to work on a job site in the role of a basic scaffolder undertaking planning and preparing, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and inspecting, repairing, and altering scaffolding within the scope of a basic scaffolder as per OHS, regulations and legislation.
Participants who have successfully completed this course will be able to undertake CPCCLSF3001A Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding - intermediate level. This course forms part of the Nationally Recognised Qualification CPC30911 Certificate III in Scaffolding
