Course Overview
Apply First Aid (also known as senior First Aid or Workplace first Aid level 2) is delivered face to face in a combination of practical and theoretical activities, exercises and assessments.
It provides the participants with the skills and knowledge to confidently manage emergency situations, providing care for the ill or injured until medical aid arrives. The course includes CPR.
It is suitable to both people in workplaces and members of the public who want training in first aid. All components of the course are written to the ARC guidelines.
Online Pre-work:
Pre-work is required prior to attending the face-to-face component of First Aid. You will be required to successfully complete the online material and corresponding online quizzes, then show staff members when arriving your certificate of completion, which can be downloaded and printed or saved to a mobile device.
Payment Options
Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500. The balance of fees payable will be charged at a point in the course that is proportionate to the amount of the deposit paid, e.g. a 10-day course costing $3,000, the remaining $1,500 will be charged at the end of day 5 (upon completion of 50% of the course).

Qualification Outcomes

First Aid Training requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. Course Delivery
Site Skills Training are operating out of GAGAL Training Centre, a third party premises located at 63 Raedon St, Biloela, with mobile training equipment supplied by our Site Skills Training Gladstone Facility. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable industry training facilities.
Licensing Regulation
The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that refresher training is done every 3 years for the HLTAID003 Provide first aid and every 12 months for the HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

There is no recognition of prior learning for First Aid Training
