If you intend to work in the construction industry in Australia, you need a Construction Induction card or what is commonly called as “White Card".
White Card online training presents the common hazards and roles, responsibilities, and obligations that everyone in a construction site is subject to, with the goal of acquiring your White Card. You will learn safe work practices, risk management principles, safety signage, personal protection equipment, and more.
You will also get to understand the rationale behind the relevant legislation. Comprehensive knowledge on important terms used in this legislation is provided while also speaking about your responsibilities in fulfilling your obligations. Once you have completed the course, you will receive a statement of attainment that assures employers you are competent to nationally recognized "white card' standard - CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
Upon successful completion of this unit a Statement of Attainment will be issued.
At the end of the course, students will receive their White Card through the mail.

White Card Training requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. This unit is required for anyone who wishes to work on,or enter any active work site in Infrastructure, Resources and Construction. Persons working in a 'construction' trade position whether full-time or contracting are required to hold a white card and have it in their possession on site. This course is mandatory for those intended for a work site within Australia.
This course is delivered face-to-face and online using Tempus - Site Skills Training Online Learning platform.

Applicants need to be 15+ to apply for this training. This OHS knowledge is mandatory for those intending to work on industry work sites in Australia. White Card training relates directly to the induction program as specified by Chapter 6 Construction work, Part 6.5 General construction induction training, Work Health and safety Regulation 2011

Any persons wanting to work in the civil and general construction industries need to have this unit of competency and card prior to accessing a site. This includes contractors.
This course form part of the Nationally Recognised Qualification CPC10111 Certificate I in Construction. It is also a core unit for many construction and resource industry qualifications.
