Course Overview
Work at Heights is aimed at providing candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake work at heights safely and competently, covering selection, inspection and safe use of equipment; risk management; and requirements of relevant Australian Standards, company procedures and legislation. The course practically applies these and other safe work practices.

Payment Options
Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500, with the balance to be paid upon commencement of the course.

Qualification Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this unit a Statement of Attainment will be issued.

Suitable For
Work Safely at Heights is recommended for those working in Civil Construction, Coal Mining, Drilling, Extractive Industries, Metalliferous Mining or Infrastructure, and will be required to spend a great deal of time as a sentry or stand-by working at heights; whether on scaffolding, EWP or large equipment.
Course Delivery
Site Skills Training are operating out of GAGAL Training Centre, a third party premises located at 63 Raedon St, Biloela, with mobile training equipment supplied by our Site Skills Training Gladstone Facility. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there is a suitable industry training facilities.
