Site Skills Training in conjunction with Evo Access is offering IRATA's Rope Access Level 3 Training by Site Skills Training in conjunction with Evo Access. The IRATA Level 3 course is an advanced technician course.This is a rope access technician who is capable of complete responsibility for rope access safety in work projects; is able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of Levels 1 and 2; is conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation; has an extensive knowledge of advanced rigging and rescue techniques; holds an appropriate and current first aid certificate and has knowledge of the IRATA training, assessment and certification scheme.

Log Book Requirements
1,000 hours logbook and 12 months experience of IRATA Rope Access at Level 2
Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500, with the balance to be paid upon commencement of the course.

IRATA Rope Access Training requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. To apply for a free USI visit the USI website or contact our facility.
This course is compatible with most skilled and non-skilled trades i.e riggers, boilermakers, fitters, NDT, painter/blasters, scaffolders.
IRATA Level 3 training is carried out at our IRATA approved specialised training facilities by Site Skills Training in conjunction with Evo Access. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there are suitable structures and industry training facilities. Courses may be extended for an extra day training (by prior arrangement) to ensure the best possible outcome for trainees.
Candidates must have 12 months experience and over 1000 hours verified in their logbook as an IRATA Level 2 and hold a valid first aid ticket.
An IRATA issued photographic licence is issued to people who are assessed as being competent. The certification is valid for 3 years from date of assessment. IRATA tickets are recognised world-wide.
There is no recognition of prior learning for this unit

IRATA’s international certification does not fall under the AQF scheme
Rope Access Technicians are used across a range of industries including building and construction, civil and resource industries
Once 1000 rope hours have been recorded and a minimum of 12 months experience has been achieved as a Level 2, candidates are eligable to sit an IRATA level 3 Technician Course.
