This course addresses the need for personnel who issue work permits to understand the permit system, know the limitations of each permit and make decisions regarding the need for and correct use of each permit. It covers the issuance of any and all permits. It applies to the issuing of permits covering a single plant or plant area such as might be an operators scope of responsibility.

Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500, with the balance to be paid upon commencement of the course.

Issue work permits requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you have provided us with your USI. To apply for a free USI visit the USI website or contact our facility.
This course is suitable for any personnel who are required to issue appropriate permits to work to persons conducting a variety of activities in workplace environments in which hazards exist or specific procedures need to followed and monitored to protect the safety of personnel and the integrity of the plant or process..
Issue work permits is conducted on-site at Site Skills Training at 1-5 Nestor Dr, Meadowbrook, QLD 4132. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing they have a suitable industry training facility.

MSMPER300 Issue work permits
This typically applies to all work done by maintenance staff and contractors, and also to any other non-process work performed on the plant.
MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit.
