This unit covers the required Occupational Health & Safety procedures on a work site. It includes awareness of OHS, risk management and prevention of injury or illness on site. This card is required before working on any active construction/ mine site.
Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500, with the balance to be paid upon commencement of the course.

Upon successful completion, candidates will be awarded with the White Card Official Statement of Attainment and the White Card.
Once the course is completed, your assessment asnwers will be assessed and marked. Once all assessments and government mandated requirements have been validated, the White Card and Official Statement of Attainment will be mailed to you.

White Card Training requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. This unit is required for anyone who wishes to work on,or enter any active work site in Infrastructure, Resources and Construction. Persons working in a 'construction' trade position whether full-time or contracting are required to hold a white card and have it in their possession on site. This course is mandatory for those intended for a work site within Australia.
White Card training and assessment is conducted at Site Skills Training facility 1 Nestor Drive, Meadowbrook, Logan 4131. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.
There are no prerequisites for this course
Applicants need to be 15+ to apply for this training. This OHS knowledge is mandatory for those intending to work on industry work sites in Australia. White Card training relates directly to the induction program as specified by Chapter 6 Construction work, Part 6.5 General construction induction training, Work Health and safety Regulation 2011

Any persons wanting to work in the civil and general construction industries need to have this unit of competency and card prior to accessing a site. This includes contractors.
This course form part of the Nationally Recognised Qualification CPC10111 Certificate I in Construction. It is also a core unit for many construction and resource industry qualifications.
