Health and Safety training covers a vast array of skills necessary for safe work practices across all industries. Courses range from essential base level safety courses to high end safety and risk management for supervisors and management.

Apply First Aid (also known as senior First Aid or Workplace first Aid level 2) is delivered face to face in a combination of practical and theoretical activities, exercises and assessments.
It provides the participants with the skills and knowledge to confidently manage emergency situations, providing care for the ill or injured until medical aid arrives. The course includes CPR.
It is suitable to both people in workplaces and members of the public who want training in first aid. All components of the course are written to the ARC guidelines.
Online Pre-work:
Pre-work is required prior to attending the face-to-face component of First Aid. You will be required to successfully complete the online material and corresponding online quizzes, then show staff members when arriving your certificate of completion, which can be downloaded and printed or saved to a mobile device.

This training package includes both UETTDRRFO6B Perform rescue from a live LV panel and HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) Training
Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) Training covers the performance of rescue procedures from live Low Voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the work place. It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from a live LV panel and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions. It encompasses responsibilities for, health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work.
CPR Training
CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course looks at the application of compressions and rescue breathing when a person is unresponsive and breathing abnormally. This course covers CPR to sustain brain function and life until medical support arrives. This course follows ARC guidelines.

CSQ Funding
Site Skills Training is working with CSQ in providing courses that fall under the Construction Skills Queensland initiative to upskill construction workers in Queensland at a reduced price.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must work or had worked in the building and construction industry in the las 6 months.
Must be an Australia or New Zealand citizen; or permanent resident of Australia; or a refugee and humanitarian visa holder.
And, must permanently reside in Queensland; or be permanently in Queensland.

The Mine Site Safety Supervisor course covers safety, management and legal responsibilities regarding OHS and mining legislation. The course aims at informing the participant how to isolate and minimise risk at their work site.

The Energy Skills Queensland Generic Induction (GI) Safety program equips resource workers with core risk assessment and safety skills required to operate safely on work sites.
The 3 day Standard 11 (S11) Generic Induction (GI) Safety course covers the health and safety requirements needed by workers to be inducted onto Queensland Coal and Metalliferous mining sites. The course meets all the requirements for Recognised Standard 11 training set by the Queensland Mining Safety Inspectorate. It includes the 6 nationally recognised units of competency required to meet the training needs of the Standard 11 for induction.
