Management of Drilling Emergencies (MODE) Training

Management of Drilling Emergencies (MODE) training is designed to maintain competency standards for key drilling & management personnel from both onshore & offshore drilling facilities to the required hydrocarbon industry standards in dealing with & minimising impact during an emergency situation on site.

The course is delivered with five participants, each undertaking unique roles to simulate a Major Emergencies situation. These roles and responsibilities can include Installation Manager, Deputy Commander, Control Room Panel/ Radio Operator, Key Events Coordinator and Muster & Logistics Coordinator. Depending on client requirements, additional students can be added over a longer delivery period, or certain roles can be backfilled to support an actual simulated Major Emergencies situation.

MOME training can be contextualised to a client's specific project. This is achieved by incorporating into the MOME-suite the exact procedures, controls and environments for a project, including layout, which would be experienced during an emergency at that project. If preferred, the course can also be delivered via a generic emergency environment.

Training is conducted through theory presentations highlighting essential underpinning knowledge followed by scenario based simulation sessions using purpose built training simulators. The practical component of the training is conducted by creating credible realistic scenarios using computer based simulators replicating functional drilling systems, were the operator & manager are expected to assess the situation, gather important incident data & respond in a predictable manner to maintain personnel safety & prevent escalation.

White Card Training

If you intend to work in the construction industry in Australia, you need a Construction Induction card or what is commonly called as “White Card".

White Card online training presents the common hazards and roles, responsibilities, and obligations that everyone in a construction site is subject to, with the goal of acquiring your White Card. You will learn safe work practices, risk management principles, safety signage, personal protection equipment, and more.

You will also get to understand the rationale behind the relevant legislation. Comprehensive knowledge on important terms used in this legislation is provided while also speaking about your responsibilities in fulfilling your obligations. Once you have completed the course, you will receive a statement of attainment that assures employers you are competent to nationally recognized "white card' standard - CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
