Mobile Plant training encompasses the skills and knowledge to safely operate mobile plant and equipment including Elevating Work Platforms (EWP) and Side Booms.

Elevating Work Platform (EWP) 11 Metres or More Training

This course aims to give participants the appropriate skills and knowledge to operate a mobile boom type elevated work platform (EWP) with a boom length over 11m.

The training and assessment includes practical hands-on skills including:

  • planning and risk management;
  • applicable legislations and standards;
  • EWP types,
  • characteristics and uses;
  • inspection,
  • maintenance and testing of the EWP;
  • appropriate PPE;
  • correct set up;
  • safe and efficient operation techniques;
  • spotting;
  • shut-down and stowage procedures and associated paperwork.

By completing this training and assessment you will be awarded the High Risk Licence class WP.

Note a High Risk Work Licence fee of $85.40 applies above the course cost. This is directly payable to Workplace Health and Safety QLD.

Elevating Work Platform (EWP) Under 11 Metres Training (Scissor Lift and Vertical Lift)

This Nationally accredited course enables participants to operate an Elevating Work Platform (EWP) under 11 metres across the Construction, Resource, Defence and Agricultural industries. There is no high risk licencing requirement to operate an elevating work platform (under 11 metres).
