National Construction Code (NCC) Training

National Construction Code (NCC) training provided by Site Skills Training provides students with knowledge about the changes to the NCC and the requirements which comprises of; the Building Code of Australia (BCA), Volume One and Two; and the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA), as Volume Three. The NCC is a collection of the Performance Requirements for all classes of buildings and reflects the only legal requirements of the NCC.

Each volume pertains to different classes within the commercial, industrial and residential buildings, with the NCC detailing the different requirements for each building classification and is aimed at improving the consistency between building, plumbing, and energy frameworks.

National Construction Code (NCC) Energy Efficiency Provisions Training

The Energy Efficiency NCC Course covers the requirements that individuals are to abide to within the construction industry. These outline the more efficient use of energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions within all classifications of buildings covered in the NCC.

Once this NCC course has been completed, students will receive 4 CPD points.

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations Training

The National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations provides candidates with knowledge on how to apply the NCC to the construction industry, including the structure of the NCC, terminology, define building classifications and how to comply with the NCC.

Candidates are also provided with the working foundations of the Australian building regulatory framework and the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB).

Once this NCC course has been completed, students will receive 4 CPD points.

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Australian Building Regulatory Framework aims to provide a basic and functional understanding of the Australian building regulatory framework and the importance of enforcing these regulations to ensure the safety of people and property. It also discusses issues regarding sustainability in design, construction, and building performance.

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Australian Building Regulatory Framework also provides an overview of the National Construction Code (NCC) and the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB).

National Construction Code (NCC) Performance – Disability Access Provisions Training

Disability Access Provisions provides a basic and functional understanding of the NCC Performance - Disability Access Provisions. Discussed further are the rationale and background with which the provision was conceptualised and eventually implemented.

Disability Access Provisions also covers the NCC Performance Requirements which provide guidance on how to achieve compliance with the Disability Access Provisions. It also tackles issues pertaining to the Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act and how the Provisions address these issues.

National Construction Code (NCC) Performance - Performance Requirements Training

Performance Requirements provides a basic understanding of of the National Construction Code (NCC) Performance - Performance Requirements as a performance-based code. It discusses the principles, concepts, and methodologies that support the NCC as a performance-based code.

This course also explains why the Performance Requirements are key components for complying with the NCC, and how compliance can be achieved.

National Construction Code (NCC) Volumes Training

The National Construction Code Volumes training provides candidates with Volumes 1, 2, and 3 of the NCC, providing candidates with 6 CPD points after successful completion.

The NCC provides the minimum necessary requirements for safety, health and sustainability in the design and construction of new buildings (and new building work in existing buildings) throughout Australia.

Volume 1 provides candidates the foundation for the NCC including commercial, industrial and multi-residential buildings, Volume 2 pertains to class 1 and 10 building comprising of houses, sheds and carports, and Volume 3 addresses plumbing and drainage within buildings.
