National Construction Code (NCC) Training

National Construction Code (NCC) training provided by Site Skills Training provides students with knowledge about the changes to the NCC and the requirements which comprises of; the Building Code of Australia (BCA), Volume One and Two; and the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA), as Volume Three. The NCC is a collection of the Performance Requirements for all classes of buildings and reflects the only legal requirements of the NCC.

Each volume pertains to different classes within the commercial, industrial and residential buildings, with the NCC detailing the different requirements for each building classification and is aimed at improving the consistency between building, plumbing, and energy frameworks.

A list of the NCC courses which Site Skills Training offers are listed below

National Construction Code (NCC) Energy Efficiency Provisions Training

The Energy Efficiency NCC Course covers the requirements that individuals are to abide to within the construction industry. These outline the more efficient use of energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions within all classifications of buildings covered in the NCC.

Once this NCC course has been completed, students will receive 4 CPD points.

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations Training

The National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations provides candidates with knowledge on how to apply the NCC to the construction industry, including the structure of the NCC, terminology, define building classifications and how to comply with the NCC.

Candidates are also provided with the working foundations of the Australian building regulatory framework and the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB).

Once this NCC course has been completed, students will receive 4 CPD points.

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Australian Building Regulatory Framework Training

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Australian Building Regulatory Framework aims to provide a basic and functional understanding of the Australian building regulatory framework and the importance of enforcing these regulations to ensure the safety of people and property. It also discusses issues regarding sustainability in design, construction, and building performance.

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Australian Building Regulatory Framework also provides an overview of the National Construction Code (NCC) and the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB).

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Energy Efficiency Volume 1 Training

Energy Efficiency Volume 1 provides a basic understanding of National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Energy Efficiency Volume 1. It discusses the background to Energy Efficiency and how this provision was conceptualised as a result of rising concerns regarding greenhouse gas emissions and the impact the construction industry has on our environment.

Energy Efficiency Volume 1 also provides a basic understanding of the objectives and application of the NCC Energy Efficiency provisions and how these address energy and sustainability issues in the construction industry.

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Energy Efficiency Volume 2 Training

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Energy Efficiency Volume 2 provides a basic understanding of National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Energy Efficiency Volume 2. This course delves deeper into the objectives of the NCC Energy Efficiency provisions and presents specific ways on how these can be applied.

Energy Efficiency Volume 2 also covers ways on how to achieve energy efficiency and discusses the varying basic application designs, concepts, and methodologies to achieve compliance. Learners are also provided a basic understanding of how to meet the key performance requirements in achieving energy efficiency.

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Using the NCC Training

National Construction Code (NCC) Foundations - Using the NCC provides basic knowledge on how the NCC is applied. It also discusses the structure and framework, language and defined terms used in the NCC, building classifications, and an overview of how compliance with the NCC is achieved.

National Construction Code (NCC) Performance – Disability Access Provisions Training

Disability Access Provisions provides a basic and functional understanding of the NCC Performance - Disability Access Provisions. Discussed further are the rationale and background with which the provision was conceptualised and eventually implemented.

Disability Access Provisions also covers the NCC Performance Requirements which provide guidance on how to achieve compliance with the Disability Access Provisions. It also tackles issues pertaining to the Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act and how the Provisions address these issues.

National Construction Code (NCC) Performance - Performance Requirements Training

Performance Requirements provides a basic understanding of of the National Construction Code (NCC) Performance - Performance Requirements as a performance-based code. It discusses the principles, concepts, and methodologies that support the NCC as a performance-based code.

This course also explains why the Performance Requirements are key components for complying with the NCC, and how compliance can be achieved.

National Construction Code (NCC) Using Performance Training

The NCC Using Performance course covers the performance requirements of the NCC and how to apply it to buildings, with emphasis on the hierarchy and terminology used in addressing performance requirements of the NCC.

Once this NCC course has been completed, students will receive 4 CPD points.

National Construction Code (NCC) Volume 1 Training

The National Construction Code Volume One provides candidates the foundation for the NCC including commercial, industrial and multi-residential buildings.

The NCC provides the minimum necessary requirements for safety, health and sustainability in the design and construction of new buildings (and new building work in existing buildings) throughout Australia.

Individuals will be awarded 2 CPD points after successful completion.

National Construction Code (NCC) Volume 2 Training

The National Construction Code Volume Two pertains to class 1 and 10 building comprising of houses, sheds and carports.

The NCC provides the minimum necessary requirements for safety, health and sustainability in the design and construction of new buildings (and new building work in existing buildings) throughout Australia.

Individuals will be awarded 2 CPD points after successful completion.

National Construction Code (NCC) Volume 3 Training

The National Construction Code Volume Three addresses plumbing and drainage within buildings.

The NCC provides the minimum necessary requirements for safety, health and sustainability in the design and construction of new buildings (and new building work in existing buildings) throughout Australia.

Individuals will be awarded 2 CPD points after successful completion.
