CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course looks at the application of compressions and rescue breathing when a person is unresponsive and breathing abnormally. This course covers CPR to sustain brain function and life until medical support arrives. This course follows ARC guidelines.
Pre-learning Online Course Option
Can't get away from your busy day? Save some time by taking the pre-learning HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation online course.
This method will allow you to take the theoretical component of the unit through Tempus, Site Skills Training's Learning Management System (LMS), designed to deliver and manage your courses online. Take the course on your own time and convenience.
Please note that the completion of this online course will NOT result in earning the unit's Statement of Attainment. If you would like to get your Statement of Attainment, you need to contact a facility to sign up for a practical test. You may only do this after you have completed this online course. A list of the facilities will be provided you within the online course.

Upon successful completion of the unit a Statement of Attainment and CPR card will be issued for one (1) nationally recognised unit of competency

CPR Training requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. To apply for a free USI visit the USI website or contact our facility.
CPR is required to be refreshed every twelve (12) months.
There is no recognition of prior learning for this unit.
