This training package includes both RIIMPO321E Conduct Civil Construction Wheeled Front End Loader Operations and RIIMPO320E Conduct civil construction excavator operations. Courses may not run consecutively.
Front End Loader Training
This unit covers conducting wheeled front end loader operations in the civil construction industry. It includes: planning and preparing; conducting machine pre-operational checks; operation of front end loaders including mixing materials, stripping/spreading topsoil and materials, loading, cutting/boxing, backfilling; attaching, securing, lifting, carrying and placing materials; selecting, removing and fitting attachments; relocating the front end loader; carrying out machine operator maintenance; and cleaning up.
This unit covers the conduct excavator operations in the civil construction industry. It includes: planning and preparing; conducting machine pre-operational checks; operation of an excavator including loading, bulk excavation, backfilling, trench excavation, stockpiling, battering and benching ; lifting, carrying and placing materials; selecting, removing and fitting attachments; relocating the machine; carrying out machine operator maintenance; and cleaning up.

Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500, with the balance to be paid upon commencement of the course.

Front End Loader Operations Training and Excavator Operations Training requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. Front End Loader Training
This course is suitable for those who would like to opportunity to operate a wheeled front end loader within the Resources, Construction and Infrastructure industries.
Excavator Operations is suitable for those who would like the opportunity to operate a excavator within the Resources, Construction and Infrastructure industries.
Training and assessment is conducted at the Site Skills Training facility 1 Campion Rd, East Arm, NT 0820. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.
In the NT, the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2011 (WHS Act) and Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Regulations (WHS Regulations) do not require a High Risk work Licence for this loadshifting equipment.
