This course provides an overview of the Meter Station design and operating principles and parameters as well as installed equipment. This is a customised course to enable operators to gain skills & knowledge necessary to operate the station.
Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500. The balance of fees payable will be charged at a point in the course that is proportionate to the amount of the deposit paid, e.g. a 10-day course costing $3,000, the remaining $1,500 will be charged at the end of day 5 (upon completion of 50% of the course).

This course is designed for oil and gas field operators and technicians.
This is a highly customised course designed and tailored for a clients specific needs. Delivery is generally at a clients premises such as a compressor station or where one is close by. There will be some classroom based knowledge delivery as well as facility based skills training and assessment.
Units of Competency
There are no units of competence/statements of attainments issued for this course however, some of the knowledge and skills gained will help with units offered in the PMA or UEG training packages.
Opportunities exist in the oil and gas industry in midstream transportation and custody transfer stations.
This is a general overview course which can lead into other related courses in the oil and gas sector.
