Once you have completed the White Card course with Site Skills Training face to face you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for CPCCOHS1001A - Work Safely In The Construction Industry and be eligible to apply to Territory Business Centre for a NT White Card application fee is $25.00 payable to the Territory Business Centre.

Acceptance of interstate cards in the Northern Territory is at the employer's discretion, check with your employer prior to undertaking a White Card with Site Skills Training to ensure they will accept cards issued by the Northern Territory Government.

Course Overview

If you intend to work in the construction industry in Australia, you need a Construction Induction card or what is commonly called as “White Card".

White Card training presents the common hazards and roles, responsibilities, and obligations that everyone in a construction site is subject to, with the goal of acquiring your White Card. You will learn safe work practices, risk management principles, safety signage, personal protection equipment, and more. You will also get to understand the rationale behind the relevant legislation. Comprehensive knowledge on important terms used in this legislation is provided while also speaking about your responsibilities in fulfilling your obligations.

Payment Options

Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500. The balance of fees payable will be charged at a point in the course that is proportionate to the amount of the deposit paid, e.g. a 10-day course costing $3,000, the remaining $1,500 will be charged at the end of day 5 (upon completion of 50% of the course).

Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion, candidates will be awarded with the White Card Official Statement of Attainment and the White Card.

Once the course is completed, your assessment asnwers will be assessed and marked. Once all assessments and government mandated requirements have been validated, the White Card and Official Statement of Attainment will be mailed to you.

Site Skills Training has a dedicated team of experts who will process your assessment and issue your white card. This White Card is issued from Western Australia though is recognised Australia Wide.

Candidates will need to submit their Unique Student Identifier (USI) before Statement of Attainment and White Card are issued. This is mandatory for any nationally accredited course.

Candidates also need to submit valid identification as mandated by law. The following are the different forms of identification Site Skills Training requires:

White Card is a mandatory requirement for anyone who wants to work in the construction industry.

White Card training is perfect for existing or aspiring tradesmen, apprentices, labourers, operators or supervisors.

Course Delivery

Training and assessment is conducted at the Site Skills Training facility 1 Campion Rd, East Arm, NT 0820. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.

Prerequisite Information

There are no prerequisites for White Card.

Licensing Regulation

Applicants need to be 15+ to apply for this training. This OHS knowledge is mandatory for those intending to work on industry work sites in Australia. White Card training relates directly to the induction program as specified by Chapter 6 Construction work, Part 6.5 General construction induction training, Work Health and safety Regulation 2011
