Course Overview
Intermediate Scaffolding specifies the outcomes required to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding at the Intermediate level which includes use and operation of Cantilevered crane-loading platforms, Cantilevered and spurred scaffolds, Barrow ramps and sloping platforms, perimeter safety screens and shutters Mast climbers, and tube and coupler scaffolds (including tube and coupler covered ways and gantries) for licensing purposes.

Intermediate Scaffolding Training requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. This course is recommended to those who have completed basic scaffolding and wish to work within the Construction, Onshore and Offshore Energy, Resources, Government and Defence Industries.
Prerequisite Information
Participants are required to complete CPCCLSF2001A Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding - basic level and hold a current licence prior to enrolling in this course
Licensing Regulation
Applicants will only be eligible to apply for a Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) (QLD Students only), Worksafe WA (WA Students only), or Work Safe NT (NT Students only) Licence, once they have completed the final assessment and been deemed competent. You need to be at least 18 years of age before you can be issued with a High Risk Work Licence from the state regulatory body.

Persons who have successfully completed this course will be able to work on a job site in the role of an intermediate scaffolder undertaking planning and preparing, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and inspecting, repairing, and altering scaffolding within the scope of a basic scaffolder as per OHS, regulations and legislation.
