Course Overview
Mobile Slewing Crane up to 100t specifies the outcomes required to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 100 tonnes) for licensing purposes. It encompasses the requirement for the up to 60 tonnes licence. The course covers safe operation according to Australian and industry standards; slinging and transferring loads, on site communications.

Payment Options
Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500. The balance of fees payable will be charged at a point in the course that is proportionate to the amount of the deposit paid, e.g. a 10-day course costing $3,000, the remaining $1,500 will be charged at the end of day 5 (upon completion of 50% of the course).

Mobile Slewing Crane up to 100t Training (C1) requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. To apply for a free USI visit the USI website or contact our facility.
Suitable For
This course is recommended for those who wish to work with or operate Mobile Slewing Cranes with a capacity of up to 100tonnes.
Prerequisite Information
There are no prerequisites to this operator's licence, however if the operator is to drive the crane on the road she/he is required to hold a HR (Heavy Rigid) licence. Participants will not be able to apply for the HRW Licence until they are 18 years old. It is recommended that a person attains their doggers licence prior to undergoing crane training.
Licensing Regulation
Applicants will only be eligible to apply for a Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) (QLD Students only), Worksafe WA (WA Students only), or Work Safe NT (NT Students only) Licence, once they have completed the final assessment and been deemed competent. You need to be at least 18 years of age before you can be issued with a High Risk Work Licence from the state regulatory body.
