Non Slewing Crane specifies the outcomes required to operate a mobile crane of greater than 3 tonnes capacity that incorporates a boom or jib which includes articulated type mobile cranes and locomotive cranes, but does not include vehicle tow trucks, for licensing purposes.

Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500, with the balance to be paid upon commencement of the course.

Non Slewing Crane Training (CN) requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. To apply for a free USI visit the USI website or contact our facility.
Non Slewing Crane (CN) is suited to those who want to work with or operate non-slewing cranes in the resources or infrastructure industries.
There are no prerequisites to this operator's licence, however if the operator is to drive the crane on the road she/he is required to hold a UD (undisclosed) licence. Participants will not be able to apply for the HRW Licence until they are 18 years old. It is recommended that a person attains their doggers licence prior to undergoing crane training
Applicants are only eligible to apply for a Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) Licence, once they are18 years of age, have completed the final assessment and logbook hours.
There is no recognition of prior learning for Non Slewing Crane (CN)
