Course Overview
Safe Use of Swing Stage Scaffolds covers the skills and knowledge required to operate a swing stage scaffold to industry and Australian regulations and standards. This course includes but is not limited to harness and travel restraint systems, safe operation, hazard identification and awareness, pre and post operational checks, selecting and using equipment.

Payment Options
Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500. The balance of fees payable will be charged at a point in the course that is proportionate to the amount of the deposit paid, e.g. a 10-day course costing $3,000, the remaining $1,500 will be charged at the end of day 5 (upon completion of 50% of the course).

Safe Use of Swing Stage Scaffolds Training requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. Prerequisite Information
Learners must hold either:
- RIIWHS204D Work safely at Heights (or equivalent), or
- CPCCCM2010B Work safely at heights (or equivalent)
Licensing Regulation
Applicants will only be eligible to apply for a Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) (QLD Students only), Worksafe WA (WA Students only), or Work Safe NT (NT Students only) Licence, once they have completed the final assessment and been deemed competent. You need to be at least 18 years of age before you can be issued with a High Risk Work Licence from the state regulatory body.
