Course Outcomes

Upon Successful completion of Understanding and Optimising Hydrocarbons Process, participants will receive a Statement of Completion.

As with all our courses we teach fundamentals enabling the delegate to understand the basic principles of operation, not theoretically as in a technical education, but practically from a real world operational point of view.

On completion of the course delegates will understand and be able to demonstrate principles of plant optimisation, including key factors such as process control, safe operation, setting realistic targets, reporting and measuring deficits.

We will not only explain the process involved but also the working principles of the equipment involved. In our experience we find that many operators and some engineers have learnt one technique to achieve an outcome without ever learning and understanding the fundamentals of each unit operation, making the selection of an optimum approach almost impossible. We aim to ensure attendees understand not only optimisation but the fundamentals of the process equipment.
