Advanced Scaffolding (SA) specifies the outcomes required to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding at the Advanced level. Scaffolding consists of all intermediate scaffolding work including all other scaffolding work connected with the use and operation of hung scaffolds and suspended scaffolds for licensing purposes.

Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500. The balance of fees payable will be charged at a point in the course that is proportionate to the amount of the deposit paid, e.g. a 10-day course costing $3,000, the remaining $1,500 will be charged at the end of day 5 (upon completion of 50% of the course).

Advanced Scaffolding Training requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. To apply for a free USI visit the USI website or contact our facility.
Advanced Scaffolding is recommended to those who have completed basic and intermediate scaffolding course and wish to round off their training regarding scaffolding within Civil Construction, Coal Mining, Drilling, Extractive industries or Metalliferous mining in either Sentry or Stand-by positions.
Advanced Scaffolding (SA)(Licence) training and assessment is conducted on-site at the Site Skills Training 72-80 Belgravia St, Belmont, Perth 6104. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.
Participants are required to complete both CPCCLSF2001A Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding - basic level and CPCCLSF3001A Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding - intermediate level and hold a current licence in both prior to enrolling in this course
A photographic licence is issued to people who are assessed as being competent to hold the High Risk Work licence (HRW licence), subject to identification checks and verifications of age. You must be at least 18 years of age before you can be issued with an HRW licence from Worksafe WA.
There is no recognition of prior learning for this Advanced Scaffolding.

Advanced scaffolders are utilised in the construction and building industries. This course provides the skills and experience for the participant to be able to apply for jobs where complicated scaffolding is required to be constructed and dismantled. No supervision is required
Advanced Scaffolding forms part of the Nationally Recognised Qualification CPC40611 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Specialist Trades)
