This unit specifies the outcomes required to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 100 tonnes) for licensing purposes. It encompasses the requirement for the up to 100 tonnes licence. The course covers safe operation according to Australian and industry standards; slinging and transferring loads, on site communications.

Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500, with the balance to be paid upon commencement of the course.

Mobile Slewing Crane up to 100t Training (C1) requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. To apply for a free USI visit the USI website or contact our facility.
Mobile Slewing Crane up to 100t Training (C1) is recommended for those who wish to work with or operate Mobile Slewing Cranes with a capacity of up to 100 tonnes.
Training and assessment is conducted at the Site Skills Training facility 72-80 Belgravia St, Belmont, Perth 6104. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.
If a client wishes to complete the C1 crane licence, students must hold a C6 Licence for 6 months with 200 logged hours prior to commencement.
Participants will not be able to apply for the HRW Licence until they are 18 years old.
A photographic licence is issued to people who are assessed as being competent to hold the High Risk Work licence (HRW licence), subject to identification checks and verifications of age. You must be at least 18 years of age before you can be issued with an HRW licence from Worksafe WA.
There is no recognition of prior learning for this unit
