Non Slewing Crane specifies the outcomes required to operate a mobile crane of greater than 3 tonnes capacity that incorporates a boom or jib which includes articulated type mobile cranes and locomotive cranes, but does not include vehicle tow trucks, for licensing purposes.

Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500, with the balance to be paid upon commencement of the course.

Non Slewing Crane Training (CN) requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. Non Slewing Crane Training (CN) is suited to those who want to work with or operate non-slewing cranes in the resources or infrastructure industries.
Training and assessment is conducted at the Site Skills Training facility 72-80 Belgravia St, Belmont, Perth 6104. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.
There are no prerequisites to this licence class, however Site Skills Training recommend the candidate holds a DG (Dogging) High Risk Licence. If the operator is to drive the crane on the road she/he is required to hold a MR drivers licence. Participants will not be able to apply for the HRW Licence until they are 18 years old.
A photographic licence is issued to people who are assessed as being competent to hold the High Risk Work licence (HRW licence), subject to identification checks and verification of age. You must be at least 18 years of age before you can be issued with an HRW licence from Worksafe WA. A HRW licence is issued for a period of five (5) years starting on the date of issue of the first HRW licence class endorsed on the licence.
