Work at Heights is aimed at providing candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake work at heights safely and competently, covering selection, inspection and safe use of equipment; risk management; and requirements of relevant Australian Standards, company procedures and legislation. The course practically applies these and other safe work practices.

Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500, with the balance to be paid upon commencement of the course.

Working at Heights Training requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. To apply for a free USI visit the USI website or contact our facility.
Work Safely at Heights is recommended for those working in Civil Construction, Coal Mining, Drilling, Extractive Industries, Metalliferous Mining or Infrastructure, and will be required to spend a great deal of time as a sentry or stand-by working at heights; whether on scaffolding, EWP or large equipment.
Training and assessment is conducted at the Site Skills Training facility 72-80 Belgravia St, Belmont, Perth 6104. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.
There are no requirements needed to enter into RIIWHS204D - Work safely at heights.
To enter into the refresher course for RIIWHS204D - Work safely at heights participants must provide their current Work at Heights Statement of Attainment issued within the past 3 years.
