This nationally recognised course is designed for individuals who are required to implement rope based rescues to save personnel from confined spaces. These individuals may work alone or as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Our training can be customised to suit scenarios related to your work place, with various types of equipment used dependant on the rescues complexity.

- PUAEME001B Provide emergency care
- PUAFIR207B Operate breathing apparatus open circuit
- PUAFIR215 Prevent Injury
- PUAFIR316 Identify, detect and monitor hazardous materials at an incident
- PUASAR025A Undertake confined space rescue
Prior to commencement of this course, students must had completed RIIWHS202D Enter and Work in Confined Spaces and MSMWHS216 Operate Breathing Apparatus.
RPL may be available for candidates with previous industry experience.
This course is suitable for those who wish to perform confined space rescues within:
- Civil Construction
- General Construction
- Oil & Gas
Upon successful completion of these units a Statement of Attainment will be issued for each.

Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500, with full payment being made after the course has been delivered.

Training and assessment is conducted at the Site Skills Training Sunshine Coast facility located at 219 Forestry Rd, Landsborough, 4550.
Upon arrangement, training can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.
