Self Erecting Tower Crane specifies the outcomes required to operate a self-erecting tower crane for licensing purposes, and covers the operation of a crane where the tower structure and boom/jib elements are not disassembled into component sections, which can be transported between sites as a complete unit, and where the erection and dismantling processes are an inherent part of the crane's function.

High Risk Licence prE-Learning™ forms part of the High Risk Licence training and does not qualify you for the licence.
Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Site Skills Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500. The balance of fees payable will be charged at a point in the course that is proportionate to the amount of the deposit paid, e.g. a 10-day course costing $3,000, the remaining $1,500 will be charged at the end of day 5 (upon completion of 50% of the course).

Self Erecting Tower Crane Training (CS) requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) , you can still complete the training without a USI, though Site Skills Training is unable to provide you with your completion certificate until you provided us with your USI. To apply for a free USI visit the USI website or contact our facility.
Self Erecting Tower Crane is recommended for those who wish to work with or operate a self erecting tower crane in industry.
Self Erecting Tower Crane training and assessment is conducted on-site at the Site Skills Training Landsborough. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable industry training facilities.
Our Sunshine Coast facility is at 219 Forestry Road, Landsborough QLD and training can be delivered on-site/client premises.
Applicants are only eligible to apply for a Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) Licence, once they are 18 years of age, have completed the final assessment. When applying for a High Risk Work Licence from Work Health and Safety Queensland, applicants must comply with the Work Health and Safety Queensland Evidence of Identity criteria. Tower Crane is design for any person wanting to be a Tower Crane operator in the civil, resources and mining industries. A "Tower Crane Operator" means a person who operates a tower crane (including luffing jib and articulated jib tower cranes) to perform lifts and hoist loads, and have experience with rigging practices and procedures.
