Site Skills Training Gladstone (South Trees)

Site Skills Training Gladstone boasts a flexible & efficient workforce, delivering high risk licences, verification of competencies and nationally recognised short courses to high priority training areas throughout Queensland.

site-skills-training-gladstoneSite Skills Training Gladstone (South Trees) is separated into two main areas - the vehicle & practical training site and the classrooms for theory & assessment.

All the classrooms are air-conditioned for the students. The campus is compiled of 2 large workshops, 2 crib room facilities, and 3 demountable classrooms (each room can hold up to 15+ students). On and off road parking is available.

Due to the large size of the sheds on campus training is rarely affected by the weather, being that any outside practical sessions are able to be performed inside; making the facility reliable and minimises a student’s timetable disruption in those situations.

Students are trained by highly skilled and experienced facilitators in their respective fields. The information taught is always of a high standard and up to date with required industry procedures.

The facility is operated like all industry training sites. Staff and students are required to adhere to the same safety precautions and procedures expected on any active mining or construction site. Standard PPE is to be worn.
