ABOUT THE COURSE
National Construction Code (NCC) Energy Efficiency Provisions aims to provide a basic understanding of energy efficiency provisions within the NCC Volume One and Two. Completing this course also will also let students earn 4 CPD points. This is essential for builders, architects, and engineers and equips them with the necessary knowledge to tackle energy and environmental issues in their respective fields of expertise.
Human induced climate change arising from greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are now a pressing concern. While Australia’s building sector is not the largest contributor to GHG emissions, it is becoming one of the fastest growing sources. Energy used in buildings accounts for 27% of all GHG emissions in Australia. The NCC has incorporated Energy Efficiency in order to introduce sustainable, renewable, and green energy resources into the building sector.
