What is a qualification?
A qualification is a course that’s delivered to the same standard across Australia, being recognised nationally. These courses are accredited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), which help ensure you receive a high level of training. In order to teach recognised qualifications Site Skills Training, must meet a variety of standards defined by ASQA. This provides employers and students the assurance that they will have the right skills to get the job done.
How do I know if a course is nationally recognised?
All nationally recognised qualifications have a number assigned to them when they’re advertised by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO, this number appears in the course title or description.
What’s the difference between a recognised qualification and a short course?
