Site Skills Training construct USD $1m Mine Training Centre in Philippines

Currently under development at Skite Skills Training, Clark facility is a Mine Training Environment for Underground and Open Cut Training. 

The environment will be over 10,000sqm in size, inclusive of a built underground tunnel environment spanning over 240m long, the centre is designed to provide students with hands-on experience and training.

The mine, to be ready for competency assurance and training in April is the only publically available metalliferous mining environment in Asia, and will be ready to deliver specialised training by the end of April 2015. The centre is supported by world class facilities at the campus in Clark, clients are offered accommodation, meals and recreational activities while training is being completed.

Built in partnership with OceanaGold, the facility will be available for use by all companies looking to skill project personnel for a wide range of operator training and safety courses.
